Mars Software is an independent studio that designs and builds software end-to-end — the kind of ambitious, infrastructural products that usually take a whole company.
We're drawn to problems where the hard part isn't the demo — it's the decade after. Clinical systems that have to be correct. Agent infrastructure that has to be trustworthy. Operational systems that have to stay legible under pressure.
So we work across a few disciplines at once — healthcare, AI agents, consumer products, and foundational technology — and let ideas cross-pollinate between them. The same obsession with trust that drives an agent marketplace shows up in how we build an EHR.
We'd rather ship one product that earns its trust slowly than ten that don't. Everything on this site is held to that standard.

How we work
Six principles,
applied everywhere.
Whatever the discipline, the work is built to one standard. These are the convictions that standard is made of.
Local-first and auditable
Your data should be yours. We default to local-first architectures, encrypted vaults, and tamper-evident audit trails over someone else's cloud.
Interoperate, don't enclose
FHIR and HL7 at the clinical edge, MCP and open wire specs for agents. We plug into the systems you already run instead of locking you in.
Agents as first-class citizens
Autonomy is coming whether the software is ready or not. We design for it deliberately — with graded privilege, kill switches, and verifiable trust.
Reproducible by construction
Content-hashed manifests, declarative pipelines, one-command reproduction. If a result can't be reproduced, we don't consider it shipped.
Open where it counts
Open-source stacks with zero per-seat licensing for the work that benefits from being inspected, extended, and trusted in the open.
